Job Description

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Lending, this position provides clerical and administrative support to the Lending Department. The role is heavily focused on customer service, data entry, document management, and administrative processing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling quite a bit of phone and email communication while supporting lending operations in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Temp 6 month position with potential of perm hire after depending on client needs and performance

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Lending Department
  • Enter and maintain application and customer data with accuracy
  • Scan, index, and upload documents into electronic filing systems
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and department correspondence
  • Support customer service operations by responding to member emails and answering incoming phone calls
  • Assist customers with general inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate department
  • Maintain organized records and ensure documentation is properly filed
  • Provide backup support to team members as needed
  • Deliver professional and courteous service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative, customer service, banking, or financial services experience
  • Strong data entry and computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable handling phone calls and customer interactions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous banking, credit union, lending, loan processing, teller, or financial services experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
